- Paramedics and police were called to an address in Gorwell Road, Barnstaple
Neighbours around a suspected murder scene have spoken of their shock at the death of a young mother from ‘cardiac arrest’ in her own home.
Paramedics and police were unable to save the woman, said to be in her early thirties, after they were called to her address in Gorwell Road, Barnstaple, late yesterday afternoon.
A 32-year-old woman, who detectives say was known to her, was later arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police have appealed for information from the public and asked people not to speculate on social media. The alleged victim has not been named although next-of-kin have been informed.
Residents living nearby have told MailOnline they believe the woman’s death is linked to drug dealing in the area.
