After a 2-1 start to the year, Green Bay has dropped three consecutive contests, most recently losing to the Broncos 19-17 to fall to 2-4. It marked the second-straight week that the offense failed to hit 20 points, with QB Jordan Love struggling against a weaker Denver defense.

The Green Bay quarterback completed 21 of his 31 passes, but he managed just 180 yards through the year, the second consecutive game where Love failed to hit 100 passing yards. He did find the end zone twice, but he threw an interception on the Packers’ final offense drive to seal the loss.

On the other side is a Minnesota team riding high after knocking off San Francisco on “Monday Night Football.” Kirk Cousins and Co. defended home field with a 22-17 win over the 49ers to move to 3-4. Outside of an interception on the opening drive, Cousins was sensational, throwing for 378 yards and two touchdowns.

With Justin Jefferson still on injured reserve, rookie WR Jordan Addison and TE T.J. Hockenson stepped up in his absence. Addison had two touchdowns on seven catches for 123 yards, and Hockenson hauled in 11 receptions for 86 yards.

This is the first of two matchups between Minnesota and Green Bay. The pair will play again in late December, scheduled for “Sunday Night Football” in Week 17.
